About Johannessen Construction
John Johannessen, is a Licensed General Contractor since 1982, he is the third generation of Norwegian builders. Johannessen, has a deep-rooted passion for designing and building luxury homes. His journey in construction began in Southern Utah in 1978, he relocated to Southern California in the mid-1980's. Johannessen's acute attention to detail, commitment to excellence is reflected from his extensive experience with new construction, renovations of luxury homes, residential and commercial properties. Some of the projects ranging from 1,000 to 40,000 sq. ft. He has successfully managed exclusive projects, including the notable restoration of the Brigham Young Cotton Mill in southern Utah, a historical landmark dating back to 1861.
Johannessen Construction Company is based in Malibu since 2004, it collaborates with some of Southern California's finest craftsmen. It boasts a portfolio of distinguished projects across Los Angeles and Orange Counties, encompassing areas like Beverly Hills, Century City, Hollywood, West LA, Malibu, Point Dume, Marisol Estates, Malibou Lake, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey, Calabasas, Pasadena, Mission Viejo, Coto De Caza, Newport Beach, Balboa Island, Costa Mesa, Manhattan Beach and Mammoth Lakes.
